Nancy L. Stokey is the Federick Henry Prince Distinguished Service Professor of Economics. She had intermittently served as a visiting scholar of the Research Department for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis from 2000-2013. In 2017, she was designated a Distinguished Fellow from the American Economic Association and was, also, on the Selection Committee for the John J. Carty Award for the Advancement of Science for the National Science Foundation in the same year. She has served on a number of editorial boards and research institutes. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Harvard University in 1978 after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
