BFI’s Student Lunch Series invites prominent speakers to engage undergraduate and graduate students in discussions on economics. The talks highlight the practical use of economics for answering real-world questions pertinent to businesses and policy makers.


Half of workers have used ChatGPT, but substantial inequalities have emerged, with women much less likely to use the tool. Why do some workers use ChatGPT, and others not? How do workers anticipate ChatGPT will impact their jobs? Anders Humlum, Chicago Booth assistant professor, explored these and related questions on the impact of ChatGPT in the workplace.
